Buon e grande tagliere misto, buonissimo risotto di zafferano e funghi, e un fileto cotto giusto. Ottimo servizio.

I think the reviews for this establishment may be on the “too enthusiastic” side. We ordered the set which comes with bread, meats and cheese starters, florentine Bistecca steak, and a mixed salad. We also ordered a soup. All of their service staff bar one was very kind. The one exception being a man who was incredibly unhappy and terce until a bunch of plates were dropped in the kitchen later in the evening after which we finally saw him smiling and laughing with colleagues. The steak piece was very fatty and it was hard to chew. The first few bites were promising, however, I really struggled to enjoy it at the end. Without the salt sprinkled on top of the meat it would have been impossible to finish due to the toughness and lack of flavour. The garden salad also comes with no sauce so you just have to try and make do with the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper that comes with the bread. The soup was hearty and flavourful which I enjoyed. I do think that if you order the set menu you will be very full so portion wise it is good. It is on the expensive size for what it is. I do suggest trying to look for a different place for steak. They are okay but not very memorable.
