El restaurante "The Olive Tree" es difícil de describir como un establecimiento típico en Brujas, ya que mezcla hermosamente dos culturas y cocinas: la griega y la mediterránea. El interior del restaurante está diseñado de manera "despreocupada", lo que crea un ambiente propicio para la relajación y las conversaciones sinceras.

Siguiendo una antigua tradición, antes de servir cualquier plato, a cada cliente se le presenta un tazón de aceitunas frescas en vajilla de porcelana blanca impecable. Otra característica notable del restaurante son sus siempre frescos ingredientes de mariscos, que nunca son congelados, preservando así su sabor único. Además, los muebles merecen especial atención: están decorados con ramas y raíces de árboles.

Oh my god guys DONT SKIP ON THE FRIES!! THEYRE SOOOO GOOD!! This place was really good, staff was nice. I fell in love with the fries haha. The halloumi wasn’t great to be honest but was ok, I was expecting better. It’s only takeaway which is a bit impractical but I sat on a bench in a park which was nice. My dish had pita bread but I’m gluten intolerant so they gave me the option to either have extra salad or extra fries so I got salad but I should have gotten fries because they were so good! Overall it was great.

Nice food and ambiance, but the staff seemed a bit impatient with us, possibly because we came in on the later side (still well before closing time). We were told we'd need to wait for a table, and the staff seemed a bit annoyed that we agreed to do so instead of just leaving. Other than that, we have recommended the food and found a decent spread of vegetarian options.
