Zeer teleurstellende ervaring bij Grand Café Place du Nord – onbeschofte eigenaar Tijdens mijn bezoek aan Grand Café Place du Nord in Eindhoven werd ik onaangenaam verrast door het beleid rondom het toiletgebruik. Er wordt maar liefst €1 gevraagd voor gebruik van het toilet als je contant betaalt, en €1,60 als je pint. Toen ik op een rustige en beleefde manier aangaf dat ik dit aan de hoge kant vond, werd de eigenaar buitengewoon onvriendelijk. In plaats van een normaal gesprek, kreeg ik een boze reactie en werd ik gesommeerd het restaurant te verlaten. Een dergelijke manier van omgaan met klanten is voor mij onacceptabel. Je komt ergens om niet als lastpost behandeld te worden. De eigenaar lijkt niet open te staan voor feedback en gaat direct in de verdediging – op een manier die je als klant absoluut niet prettig vindt. Als je vriendelijk behandeld wilt worden, raad ik aan om een ander café in Eindhoven te bezoeken. Hier voel je je helaas allesbehalve welkom.
