Wij gaan met grote regelmaat naar restaurants welke in de Michelingids vermeld zijn. Zeker in Eindhoven omdat we daar wonen. Dit restaurant bezoeken we zeer regelmatig. In vergelijking tot de andere goede restaurants heeft deze een Sommelier die precies de juiste wijnen bij de gerechten uitzoekt. Het lijkt hier wel dat zowel de wijnen als het eten elkaar enorm versterkt. Eten is altijd top en de wijnen erbij ook. Niets dan lof over dit restaurant.

Gelukkig woon ik vlakbij, dus kan ik er regelmatig naartoe. Want het is écht heel goed eten! Alles klopt, het eten is smakelijk, bediening vriendelijk en voor iedereen wat wils. Ik kom er graag voor de overheerlijke zeetong. Maar ze hebben ook een verrassingsmenu. Diverse kleine extraatjes, lekkere olijfolie, amuses en extraatjes. Ik kom zeker snel terug. Een zeetong voor 47 euro vind ik een eerlijke prijs. Als ik dan één kanttekening mag maken? Wij bestellen (zonder de kaart te zien) op advies een voorgerechtje en bestelden een zeebaars voorafje, wat ook in het verrassingsmenu zat die avond. Dit was een klein gerechtje en heel smakelijk. Dat daar dan vervolgens achteraf een bedrag voor 26 euro voor gevraagd wordt onder de naam tonijn, terwijl we dat niet hebben gehad? Dat vind ik dan vreemd. Zal qua prijs wel kloppen. Maar zo'n klein beetje zeebaars in vergelijking met zo'n grote zeetong komt scheef over. Zal me niet beletten niet terug te komen. Het was weer heerlijk!
