We came here a year ago and really enjoyed the Turkish eggs and shakshuka so much so we came back. Unfortunately standards have dropped. The Turkish eggs were basically boiled eggs the white was rubbery and the middle was well done (poacher was used). The toast didn’t seem fresh and there was no chilli oil I assume it was missed. My partner asked for the French toast and was told they don’t do that at weekends so he went for pancakes. He got 3 ridiculously small pancakes that looked like a child’s portion. Having worked in hospitality I’m almost certain they’re brought in ready made. Far too expensive for quality and quantity. Staff lovely tho and cafe has a nice setting.

Friendly and pleasant service, and delicious coffee! Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food: we ordered the full breakfast and, for the price, we expected a larger portion – there was very little beans and a hard-boiled egg, which were the biggest downsides. Sadly, this breakfast didn’t meet our expectations. It was tasty, but if those details were improved, it would be wonderful!
