This is a true gem only open Monday to Friday at lunch time. Booked on line and reviewed the menu which is well explained as is the pricing options . 2-3 choices for each course - meat fish and veg options. The restaurant is elegant , the food delicious and very reasonable priced and the service excellent . It is such a pleasure to dine in Trinity College again and I have been blown away by the quality of food and overall experience . Gertie is fabulous too. This is my new go to place for treating myself and friends at lunch time . The wine list is also very well priced . Looking forward to my next visit. Well done everybody - it is a delight to eat there .

We had an outstanding experience at 1592 following our visit to the historic Trinity library and Book of Kells experience. Food and service are excellent!
