We had another fantastic experience at Acropolis Taverna (formerly known as Mykonos Taverna) – our fourth visit overall, but first since the rebranding. The same lovely team is still running it, and the cozy, familiar decor remains just as welcoming. The food was exceptional! We tried a variety of dishes from their set menus – Greek salad, kalamarí, crispy halloumi, spanakopita, and of course, their signature pork gyro platters, which were insanely flavourful. Also had the grilled mixed skewer platter, which was juicy and perfectly cooked. The set menus include a glass of wine and are very reasonably priced around €22.95–€25.95, offering great value for the quality and portions. Service was absolutely top-notch – friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. We felt really well looked after throughout the meal. The whole experience (for 4 people, including drinks like Coke Zero and water) came to just under €127, which we found excellent for central Dublin and the amount of food we enjoyed. Love, love, love this place and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Dublin!

Can I say how good the Kalamata olives are? And the dolmas are excellent as well. Overall, the food is great. The staff is great if you come across the excellent one, though it happened only once that I had a bad experience.

Came here to celebrate my brothers birthday and we all really enjoyed our night. The food was fresh, flavoursome and the menu was varied and impressive. What stood out most however was the service. We brought along a cake and the staff dressed it beautifully on a plate (all complimentary and above what we had even asked for) and sang happy birthday making us feel special throughout the whole meal. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.
