Definitely a place worth the extra 20min walk from our spot. Delicious modern Japanese cuisine with a hint of local inspiration. Friendly service, seemingly a family business, we struggled at first to understand the size of the dishes, some of the entree’s turned out quite hearty leaving us very satisfied and no room left at the end of the evening. I loved the Gyoza and the various fish dishes, however other at our table voted heavily for the Pork Teriyaki. The atmosphere is low-key, borderline silent even with some recorded piano music on low volume. I dropped the little bottle of chili oil from an inch up down on the table and it felt like the noise made everyone in the restaurant turn their head around.
