Their aim was to provide a permanent home for "Metro" and to create a unique space for Polish musical theater. The first production under the new Studio Buffo management was "Do grającej szafy grosik wrzuć" (Drop a Coin into the Jukebox) in 1993, featuring artists who would later become household names, such as Edyta Górniak and Katarzyna Groniec.
