The Natural History Museum in Vienna is one of the ten largest museums in the world, consisting of 39 halls and holding more than 20 million exhibits. The museum was opened in 1889 simultaneously with the Museum of Art History, located right across from it. The Museum of Natural History astonishes with its invaluable exhibits, such as taxidermies of rare animals, dinosaur skeletons, and a variety of minerals and fossils. The building is adorned by a 60-meter high dome, topped with an image of the ancient Greek god Helios. The walls of the exhibition halls are decorated with various structures that describe the history of the emergence and evolution of life on Earth. Additionally, the walls feature paintings that narrate major events and discoveries in the world of science.

Un museo enorme che ospita l’evoluzione dell’uomo, scheletri di dinosauri giganteschi e meteoriti di dimensioni enormi, oltre a minerali di ogni tipo. Molto bella l’architettura del palazzo, grandissimo da vedere
