Nice park Well maintained hotel, there chairs and seating areas all over the park, very suitable for picnic and dog walk as well , water taxi near by as well

This is one of the few expansive green spaces in Venice, located on Sant’Elena. It was established in the 1920s to commemorate the fallen soldiers—originally from World War I, though later associated with World War II as well. The park was traditionally planted with one tree for each soldier lost, following a symbolic approach to remembrance. For this reason, it is also known as the Pineta di Sant’Elena (Sant’Elena Pine Grove). In 1970, a powerful tornado struck the area, causing severe damage to the park and its trees. As a result, a memorial was erected within the park to honor the victims of that event as well.
