I paid £260 a night. Far too much. The rooms were exceptionally clean, large with an American king sized bed. The decor was slightly strange with green/glass panels around which made the room "feel " cold. A strange choice. On trying to enter the room the hall light literally gave you four seconds and then plunged you into darkness. This was met with a shrug at reception. The room faced onto the beach. A stones throw . Breakfast was fresh and high quality (mainly, the bread seemed dry ) and Geraldine the breakfast girl was great. Nice coffee. Was the hotel worth this price , absolutely not. The "Leading hotel of the World"Las Arenas was only £12 more a night next door when booked direct. Excellent A/C By far the biggest problem was not the hotels fault but should be a warning. 1/2 mile along the beach to the right at the port end was a night club with loud DJ that played VERY heavy bass beat club music from ten am to 2 am.Loud. The heavy bass penetrated the room so much we had to buy ear plugs. We even reported it to the Police , to be told they are "allowed" The bathroom was large and the entire place immaculately clean. Safe. Fridge with ice compartment. I guess you pay for location. In my view this was worth about £40 a night less.
