Once, a local architect decided to unify several buildings in Pisa with a single facade executed in the secular Gothic style. The endeavor succeeded, and the Palace emerged, adorned with reliefs made of burnt clay. Upon first encountering the palace, what immediately catches the eye are the lancet windows adorned with pristine mini-columns and "fresh" vegetal ornamentation.

Life-size human figures and the owner family crest since 1494 are not the only things the palace is renowned for. Within its walls hides the famous "Caffe dell Ussero" known throughout Pisa, always filled with both locals and tourists. Additionally, under the roof of the palace is the oldest movie theater in all of Italy, "Cinema Lumiere," which launched its first film in 1899, and inside the Accademia dell’Ussero since 1959.

The owner is the heart of the place, he is very happy and optimistic guy. I like him a lot. I never dring coffee, but I had to try it was cappuccino, and it was amazing. People are coming to get some coffee or mini sandwich on the way to Pisa tower. Everything was great.
