As new to East Finchley, we were recommended the Windsor Castle by a lovely couple as a must try within the area. The recommendation was about the look, the feel, the ambiance and the service that we would experience and indeed it was on-point when visiting today. From entering and leaving this lovely pub, we were very pleased with our experience. From the moment we crossed the main door and were welcomed by Arina (Hopefully we got the name spelling right), the interaction, the explanation about the menu, the offered little tasting were all done with a touch of hospitality at its best. The decor of the place, the soothing floor to ceiling colours, the vibey music, the clean toilets (yes this is very important) all gave us a sense of peaceful enjoyment within a pub setting. No doubt that this will become our pub-spots for months to come and we look forward to experiencing the garden or the thematic evening (art, music, etc...)
