It's a nice big pub with a large beer garden. The staff are helpful and friendly. I was impressed by my visit as the food has improved greatly. The portions are big and good value for money. I had the Sunday roast and was impressed by the amount I got and wasn't disappointed. To get an extra Yorkshire pudding they wanted to charge 2 quid which put me off but the amount was very good. The staff were very attentive but it wasn't too busy as we went early. We enjoyed ourselves and got to catch up with an old friend. I recommend here.
