Built on Wawel Hill, the cathedral dedicated to Saints Stanislaus and Wenceslaus is a cathedral church. The temple has undergone multiple reconstructions and renovations, as originally two separate churches named after the two saints stood on this site. It was only after severe fires and consequent damages that they were merged into one. Absorbing features of Baroque and the charm of Gothic, this building has become the most famous structure in Krakow. The cathedral is also renowned for the Sigismund Chapel with the "Sigismund" bell, which in turn occupies the place of a national symbol of Poland. Inside, you will find a rich and ornate interior with sarcophagi and sculptures, as well as the holy relics of Queen Jadwiga and the martyr Stanislaus himself.

Могу сказать с уверенность, что изображения собора не передают его настоящего великолепия. Очень интересно выглядит смешение стилей в архитектуре строения. Обязательно взберитесь на колокольню, ведь оттуда открываются потрясающие виды. Кстати, в соборе до сих пор проводятся службы и даже можно услышать пение хористов.

Foarte frumos, însă sistemul de achzitie al biletelor este cel putin bizar. Plătești spearat pentru fiecare obiectiv si cred ca arunci cand tragi linie nu a meritat atât de tare. Altfel e un punct bun de belvedere. Ingrijit si curat, oameni primitori. Eu recomand Dragon s Den, o parte din Castel si catedrala. Se aplică reduceri pentru studenții EU.
