We bought 1+kg of coffee beans and we are very happy because they are super fresh (1-2 weeks from roasting date). Compared to supermarket coffee beans, the difference is brutal, not only due to the superior quality of Kaffa beans, but also because supermarket beans are 4+ months old at minimum).
Also, as far as Helsinki area goes, you’ve never had an actual cup of coffee until you’ve tried one in Kaffa. Great quality coffee + expert barista + perfect milk foam = an amazing cup of coffee.
Having heard only good things about Kaffa, my spouse and I took the barista course and we loved it because it is very much beginner friendly. Kyle spent an hour walking us through what coffee is, how it is grown, harvested, roasted, the different varieties and so much more. After that, we had many tries of pulling our own espresso shots (on a 35.000€ espresso machine) and practicing latte art with normal and oat milk, all done under the guidance of Kyle.
We also tried some buns and chocolate/mousse pastry that all tasted really good.
My only complaint is that we left Kaffa overcaffinated from all the good coffee that we couldn’t resist not to drink.
