We stumbled upon Gammeltorv Café (well… more on the stumbling part later) and were warmly welcomed by a lovely waitress who guided us through the cozy, charming restaurant straight to our table. The lunch options were unapologetically Danish — and exceptionally delicious. Each bite felt like a culinary hug from Denmark itself. But then came the snaps… smooth, yet secretly powerful little glasses of joy that snuck up on us like Viking warriors in disguise. We fully embraced the Danish lunch tradition — food and snaps — and let’s just say… we didn’t so much walk out of the restaurant as waddle out, full of laughter and pickled herring. What an introduction to Danish cuisine and Copenhagen hospitality. Absolutely phenomenal. 12/10 would wobble again!
