The Belgian restaurant Le Marmiton is considered one of the best not only in Belgium but throughout Europe. It is located in the historic part of Brussels, making it highly popular among tourists who invariably stroll around here.

The foundation of Le Marmiton's menu is, of course, the local traditional cuisine. However, the restaurant owners were born in Portugal, and among the familiar names, you can find quite unusual dishes with seafood and mandatory wine.

The establishment is divided into two tiers, with a summer terrace in front of the entrance. The interior of the restaurant is dominated by a dark green shade, and large mirrors on the walls create an atmosphere of coziness and tranquility.

I like good food and that's what I got here. The service was also great. We felt very comfortable. I recommend the chicken and duck as the main course. The rabbit was not our favourite.

Durante la nostra missione universitaria a Bruxelles, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di assaggiare alcuni dei piatti tipici della cucina Belga. Il locale, dagli interni eleganti e sofisticati, è gestito da un personale gentile e disponibile (soprattutto il responsabile, di cui ci ha colpito la memoria con la quale ha ricordato tutti gli ordini senza che ne prendesse alcuna nota scritta). Menù ampio e variegato. Consigliata la prenotazione.

Siamo a Bruxelles per un breve viaggio e abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante. Prenotazione per le 20.00 ma abbiamo comunque aspettato 20 minuti, penso che abbiano assegnato ugualmente i tavoli nonostante la prenotazione e non lo trovo molto corretto. I piatti ordinati buoni, le cozze ci sono piaciute molto, mentre il brasato buono ma non eccezionale. Ambiente carino e piacevole, forse i tavoli un po’ attaccati. Prezzo nella media di Bruxelles.
