Each house is connected with the adjacent one through passageways, and in some cases, by staircases. The restaurant's menu features national cuisine dishes, and the interior is designed in the medieval tradition, complete with period-specific features. The establishment got its name in honor of the founder of a rather well-known city orphanage, who lived in Amsterdam in the 16th century.

Amazing food and the service couldn't be better, they ask you in the front desk for your native language and choose a waiter who speaks that. That makes you feel more "like in home". The place also have an antic but chic touch. 👌
