The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen stands as a beloved symbol and a must-see for visitors. Perched gracefully on a rock at Langelinie Pier, this world-famous statue draws inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen's cherished fairy tale. Though modest in size, her serene presence captivates and invites contemplation against the backdrop of Copenhagen's striking waterfront. The nearby park offers a tranquil setting for families, making it a delightful spot for children to explore. Despite its understated appearance, the statue remains a quintessential experience, leaving a lasting imprint on those who come to pay homage to Denmark's storied cultural heritage.

It's about time to meet the Little Mermaid; she is little. I lived in Copenhagen from 1990 to 1995 and did not meet her then, so it was a long-awaited meeting 😃.
