Fully vegan restaurants and cafés are always my first choice and the places where I feel most comfortable. But at Thrive there are a few things that really need improvement. The tables definitely needed cleaning – nothing had been cleared from the previous guests and I ended up wiping my own table. The food also took quite a long time to arrive, and the cutlery was forgotten. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, but overall the service wasn’t great.

How did I miss such a cosy bibliophile cafe while living just across the road. I love how lush trees block the busy road and creates lovely vibe for its outdoor sitting. The inside is nicely built with stairs leading to cosy sitting spaces. Staff is sweet. I went there to strengthen my newfound love for hot chocolate. Looks like I was late to the party but nonetheless welcomed.😀 Sip, read and linger a little longer !

This is an amazing vegan place with kind employees and great drinks! I didn't order a cake this time, but last year the cake was very nice too. I don't live in the UK, but I'll always go to this cafe for some nice quiet reading time when Im in Cambridge
