Third time at this restaurant, and probably the last unfortunately. Some of the courses of the tasting menu were exceptional (cod loin, deserts) but others were just so so in comparison with similar standard restaurants that we've been to. What really impacted the experience was the loud and rather strident-sounding playlist (a speaker being just over our table) and the ice cold blast over our table from an air con unit that made for an uncomfortable couple of hours. A waitress did turn down the volume a little, but initially seemed a bit non-plussed at my request, barking back: 'What's wrong with the music?' If they don't know how inappropropriate the choice of background music was for the type/quality of restaurant they profess or aspire to be, it's a poor do.

We attended this wonderful restaurant to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It's a real hidden gem, the food was phenomenal, and we've visited and tried many tasting menus in London and a few around the world. You can tell that the chefs and team have put an immense amount of effort into curating a beautiful and tasty menu. The flavours were amazing, each course was a taste explosion! And stunning to look at as well. The wine flight was also perfect, introducing us to many types we haven't tried before. The staff were great, so friendly, professional yet knowledgeable. We had such a great time and would highly recommend.

My recent visit to Restaurant Twenty Two in Cambridge was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Having the chance to dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant is always a treat, and this place truly earns every bit of its acclaim. We opted for the full degustation menu with the wine pairing, and I can't recommend it enough. Each course was a carefully crafted journey of flavor, and the sommelier's choices perfectly complemented every dish. The food was simply incredible. Two dishes were massive standouts for me: the pork and scallop main, which was a perfect and surprising combination of textures and tastes, and the chocolate miso dessert. The dessert was a true work of art—a complex and delicious end to an amazing meal. While it is certainly an expensive experience, it is absolutely worth it for a special occasion. The attentive and knowledgeable staff, combined with the phenomenal food and beautiful ambiance, makes it a truly memorable dining event.
