HEAVY MOON

Museo local ubicado en el antiguo monasterio de San Juan, posee un claustro renacentista cerrado muy bonito. Además, alberga otras estancias, como un Salón municipal, con unas esplendidas bovedas. Una antigua dependencia decorada como una habitación hogareña, con una esbelta chimenea. Y un habitáculo con una esplendida mesa de madera decorada y el cuadro "El triunfo de la Santa Cruz en la batalla de las Navas de Tolosa". El cuadro me parece contradictorio, con un Santiago matamoros, atravesando una fila de esclavos subsaharianos encadenados. Merece la pena darse un paseo por este museo

Impressive building inside. They are still doing more renovations. When I went, I couldn’t go upstairs to see the rooftop renovation. It’s free to get in. They also have some displays that change out.

Free. Fine for a 10 minute visit. Metal sculpture exhibition. Nice conversion of an old building.
