We had a wonderful time at Café Gerbeaud in Budapest – it truly lives up to its reputation. The interior is stunning with a historic and elegant atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. We stopped by for a café break, enjoyed delicious ice cream, and were pleasantly surprised by live music, which added to the charm of the place. The food is good. The inside of the cafe is very elegant. I expected I would pay a lot for eating in a famous cafe, but I wasn't expecting this much. I can only recomend comming here if you have a lot of cash to burn through. I paid just under 22000 HUF for a sandwich, a small piece of cake and a glass of water. That is 55 euros. It can be very noise outside as it is a busy square.
