Lovely little pub, nice outside area (tables at the front), really lovely staff and nice veggie sausages rolls!

I Went to Village in Brighton (Islingword Road) to get brunch at about 10:30. Great relaxed atmosphere. I had a pint of cider to combat the heat while I perused the menu of Algerian influenced dishes, all with an interesting twist and brilliantly presented on the plate imaginatively. I chose to have the Algerian Breakfast which was a good platefull consisting of two poached eggs, merguez sausages, halloumi, spiced pinto beans, grilled vine tomatoes, spinach, Mediterranean hash, harrissa and flatbread. It was all it promised!

I went here for breakfast this morning. I had the Village breakfast and my friend the coconut greek yoghurt. Both were delicious! Love that there is a gluten free option for bread! The yoghurt was gluten free too. The coffee was amazing! It took us 20 minutes to realize we had to order at the bar..so don't forget to do that, even when you're not ordering take out. The atmosphere was amazing. I love the lp singles on the ceiling and the quotes on the wall! I recommend this place!
