Went for fish & chips here recently and although the pub looked lovely and inviting and a warm atmosphere, the food wasn’t as good as expected. We had cod and chips and the menu said chips, hand cut Maris Piper potatoes. Unfortunately the chips were small, overcooked and most likely frozen ones and not Maris Pipers . It was a little disappointing especially at nearly £16. Shame because the pub was lovely.

Nice boozer. Quiet when we came on a Wednesday but so much more of a real pub than the Spoons nearby. Reasonable prices and friendly staff, comfy and dog friendly.
