Great for sports with additional TV in the courtyard. Pool table and dartboard (actually two dartboards). Very doggy friendly, pleasant staff. There's no food here, but you can order in. I visited for the Lions final, what a great atmosphere. Definitely a new spot for our group to hang out at.

I have always had such a good experience at The Welly. It’s a lovely layout, has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a great little beer garden too! We have our boozy book club in the function room upstairs and Violet and the team have always been unbelievably helpful and accommodating. The space is great - I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an intimate function space. I visit frequently with friends but also with my family which includes 2 young children and it’s always a pleasure. An all round brilliant Brighton pub!
