Went for sunday lunch ..Delicious roast dinner ..Couldn't fault it ..I had the roast pork ..Vegetables cooked to perfection ..Enormous yorkshire pudding..Lovely thick gravy ..Bar staff very efficient and friendly. Good service all round ..Would highly recommend it .

We came here for a late Sunday Roast (7pm) which were all good. I had a nut roast, the others, the poke belly. I really enjoyed my roast potatoes. The gravy was rich and I thought the cauliflower cheese, one of the best I've had in a along while. The place was quiet which i put down to the women's euro finals. There was also a smooth jazz band playing in the afternoon when I popped in (they neither responded to my email or to any calls) to check if they served Roasts late and whether we'd need to book a table. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Wir besuchten Abends um 21 Uhr mit unserer 14 Jährigen Tochter das Pub. Ein ausgesprochen freundlicher Barkeeper machte meinem Mann und mir die Bierbestellung und ich freute mich schon sehr darauf, meines aus dem dazu passenden Glas zu trinken. Kaum saßen wir am Tisch, kam eine Kellnerin zu uns und fragte unsere Tochter nach ihrem Ausweis. Da sie weder einen Ausweis bei sich hatte, noch die von der Kellnerin gewünschten 18 Jahre alt war, wurden wir aufgefordert zu gehen. Entweder mit Bier in Plastikbecher umgeschüttet oder gegen Geldrückgabe. Das wir ohnehin die Eltern waren, das Lokal nur mit einer handvoll Leute bestückt war und nichts nur irgendwie Teenagergefährlich war, beeindruckte sie wenig. So verließen wir das Lokal um sicher nie wieder zu kommen.
