This is the place to come and eat if you're in the area and assuming they are open. My wife and I came here for lunch not knowing what to expect. It is a canteen or a cafeteria where you are served the meal of the day. You can either have it with or without meat. They charge $12 Franks because this place is a ministry or charity. I was told by one of the regulars that the chef is an Italian that comes to donate his time and work specifically for this place. We had the meat dish with mashed potatoes. It was fabulous! This place not only deserves you to come and visit and eat but also your financial support. What a communal dining experience. It was so European and strange for us it was also wonderful at the same time. You owe it to yourself to try this experience especially if you happen to be a holiday maker and if you happen to be from the United States.
