Right next to the Eastern railway station, located in the structure of a former power plant, is the widely known techno club Berghain. In 2012, it was recognized as the best club in the world. However, getting in is not easy, as the face control is really strict, and the criteria by which the security selects guests have not yet been disclosed. Taking photos or filming inside Berghain is strictly forbidden.

Those lucky enough to have waited in line for hours and to find themselves inside will be struck by the surrounding atmosphere. They step into an entirely different world, where there is no sign of luxury, glamour, or any other attributes of high society life. On the first floor, there is a cloakroom, a dark room, and a hall with concrete benches and Nathan's "Ritual of Disappearance" canvas, covering an entire wall. Berghain is split into 2 parts: a cozy panorama bar and a huge dance floor. At the same time, it can accommodate 1500 people.

In Berlin for twelve days in July and my girlfriend and I were allowed entry three times - and first time trying! It's a bit of a cliche but wearing black seems to help although my skirt was leather. People used to say if you get denied entry return at 8am when the bouncers change for easier entry but the bouncers at 8am seem harder than the ones previous. Cash only once inside but the bouncers will let you leave to visit the ATM (five seconds away) without having to queue again. In my opinion, the sound system in the main room is overrated, only good if you can get right in the middle of the floor. If you stand on the left side underneath the stairs to Panoramabar, the sounds becomes distorted. The best advice for entry I heard was "act normal, dress casual - roll the dice!".
