I took the train to Bangor and then walked from Bangor to Hollywood along the coastal path. Some sections of this path are paved, and some other sections remain as footpaths. The areas close to the Bangor and Hollywood are maintained as promenades. It’s a fairly easy walk with occasional slopes, but there are plenty of benches to sit and rest a little. The section from Bangor to Helen’s bay is busy, and the section from Helen’s bay is quiet until the Cultra area. It is a calm and peaceful walking path, with people walking dogs and jogging/exercising. It’s generally very quiet except for the noise of waves breaking. Salt air.
