About

Victoria Park in Belfast offers a delightful retreat for families and nature enthusiasts. With its picturesque lake surrounded by swans, ducks, and pigeons, it's a perfect spot for bird watchers and those looking to unwind. The park features a scenic island walk and a serene forest for those seeking tranquility. Cyclists and runners can enjoy the flat and smooth paved paths. Families will appreciate the fenced playground and the opportunity to bring pets along. Visitors can refresh with treats from the vegan ice cream and coffee truck stop, or relax at the on-site café.

While the park offers free parking and bike stands, it could benefit from improvements in its washroom facilities and playground maintenance. The open gym area, despite being a great concept, needs better cleanliness and upkeep. Nevertheless, Victoria Park's natural beauty and family-friendly atmosphere continue to make it a cherished destination for locals and tourists alike.

Beautiful park. Two football pitches and cricket ground. There is a lovely walk through the trees that circles the perimeter. Great place for a run. Also fabulous for plane aficionados as Belfast City Airport is right next door. Worth a trip
