Absolutely superb all round. The pub is full of character and warmth, with a beautiful garden and amazing countryside views. The menu is simple, refined, and consistently excellent. And Felix was outstanding. Friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive … truly memorable service in a wonderful setting.

Stopped to do a long loop walk around the coal canals and then end back in the pub for lunch - it was fantastic - incredible service, food amazing (group all loved the handmade pie, mushroom lasagne, burger), perfect stop after a hike! Def will be back!

No food apart from bar nibbles as it’s a Monday - but it’s so lovely to sit in the gorgeous garden with a pint of beer on a summer evening 👍
