About

Step into history at the Bath Assembly Rooms, a remarkable example of Georgian architecture crafted by John Wood, the Younger, in 1771. This attraction in Bath boasts stunning historic chandeliers, beautifully preserved interiors, and features suitable for children. Visitors can marvel at the exhibits, including the 'Helios' sphere in the Ballroom and its Earth counterpart, both presented at the same scale. Despite ongoing renovations for enhanced interactive experiences, set to complete in 2026, informative tours are still available, led by friendly, knowledgeable guides. With free entry for National Trust members, the Bath Assembly Rooms remain a top-rated destination, celebrated for its blend of historical charm and family-friendly atmosphere.

Very interesting place. It was a bit crowded, but otherwise a really great visit.

Big space. HELIOS exhibition was warming and good. Nothing else there otherwise. Half of it closed off.
