A must for Frankenstein fans, I learnt many things about Shelly's life that drove her to write the novel. Interesting exhibits. But be aware of the basement, it's not for the faint hearted 💀!

Fantastisch eingerichtetes Museum, gleich im Nachbarhaus vom Jane Austen Museum. Sehr viel und schön aufbereitete Informationen über Mary Shelley und das Entstehen der Frankenstein-Figur. Ihr Leben, ihre Verwandten und ihre Freunde werden beschrieben und dokumentiert, um aufzuzeigen, was sie an dem Gedanken faszinierte, einen Toten auferstehen zu lassen. Es fehlen auch keine Informationen über die Hollywood-Figur des Frankenstein, allen voran Boris Karlov, der legendärste aller Darsteller dieser Rolle. Besucher sollten sich nicht wundern, wenn sie in einem der Räume, die sich auf mehreren Etagen befinden, erschreckt werden. Geräusche, Musik, Bewegungen gehören einfach zu einem Horror-Museum. Als besonderes Highlight gibt es hier auch einen Escape Room.
