The "Monumental" Arena, true to its Spanish heritage, has the ability to surprise even the most demanding traveler. Once, bloody games to the death were held here, until bullfighting was banned in Catalonia in 2010.

Today, you can often see tourists strolling around the sandy arena, which resembles a gladiator battlefield. For safety reasons, the spectator seats are hidden behind a one-and-a-half-meter fence, on the other side of which are stables, a specialized medical point, and pens for bulls.
