The aquarium, located near the Old Port, is one of the most visited entertainment spots in all of Barcelona. Under one roof, it houses more than 11,000 sea creatures belonging to 450 species.

The Barcelona underwater complex is affectionately called a "matryoshka" by the locals. This is because it includes 35 thematic aquariums with a total water volume of 5 million liters. The main attraction of the complex is undoubtedly the oceanarium, which features an 80-meter glass tunnel. Visitors can engage in diving and sign up for a night educational tour in the aquarium.
