"If you love rich, heavy broth and melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, this is your place!" Hidden inside The Manor community mall on Sukhumvit 39, Bankara Ramen is an authentic ramen spot straight from Shinjuku, Tokyo. The highlight here is their tonkotsu-based broth, slow-cooked until it’s thick, savory, and satisfyingly fatty. The ramen comes piled with big, tender slices of chashu, and if you want to level up, get the Kakuni (braised pork belly)—it literally falls apart in your mouth. 🥢 Recommended Dishes • Bankara Original Ramen – Super-rich, slightly oily broth with big chashu slices. Heavy but delicious. • Tonkotsu Chashu Ramen – Still rich but a bit lighter on the oil. Good if you don’t like it too greasy. • Kakuni Tsukemen – Cold noodles with a dipping broth and insanely soft braised pork belly. Probably the most balanced option. • Gyoza – Crispy outside, juicy inside. A little oily but still worth it. 💰 Price • Around ฿250–500 per bowl, depending on toppings. • Portions are generous—some people can’t even finish. • You can ask them to reduce oil or salt if you prefer a lighter taste. 🏠 Atmosphere & Service • Simple, authentic Japanese ramen shop vibe. • Parking available in the mall (though it can fill up during peak times). • Staff are polite and fast, and you get plenty of condiments—minced garlic, pickled ginger, sesame oil, chili oil, all the essentials. • Lunchtime gets crowded, so it’s better to come right when they open or later in the afternoon if you don’t want to wait. 👥 Who It’s For • Fans of rich tonkotsu broth • Pork belly lovers • Groups of friends wanting a casual meal after work • Anyone craving an authentic Japanese ramen fix without flying to Tokyo
