We’ve always been big fans of Hachiban Ramen, so every time we visit Thailand, it’s a bit of a tradition to stop by for a bowl. This time was no different—we ordered our usual ramen and added some chicken karaage on the side. The ramen was still as delicious as we remembered, rich in flavour and super comforting. However, the portion size seems to have shrunk a bit over the years, even though the prices have gone up. As for the karaage, it was pretty average—the chicken was okay but not as crispy as we expected, and the dipping sauce didn’t really stand out either. Service-wise, it was quite limited. There didn’t seem to be many staff around, and the ones who were there barely spoke any English, which made communication a little tricky. Despite the minor downsides, we were happy to enjoy the same ramen we fell in love with years ago. We’ll definitely be back again on our next trip!
