Ik volg Pain Pidou al sinds hun start en hoe langer ik ze mag kennen, hoe meer het team als familie voelt. Dat zit hem in de kleine dingen: een 'goeiemorgen Carolien' met een grote glimlach (dat zegt veel als je weet dat ik een zichtbaar ochtendhumeur heb, een ochtendmens zal ik nooit zijn), een dubbele check of ik nog steeds mijn vaste bestelling wens, eens vragen hoe het gaat, anticiperen op dat ene tafeltje aan het raam dat me blij maakt (mét stopcontact), ... Al het eten is van scratch en dus vers gemaakt, de koffies zijn lekker, de koeken en brood van een sublieme bakker, en als je vroeg genoeg gaat wordt je verwelkomt met de geur van krokant gebakken spek of vers geperst sinaasappelsap. Ik ben hier alvast graag een kind aan huis!
