Een bezoek aan Antwerpen is voor ons niet compleet zonder een drankje bij Bistro Bar 2. Net achter de drukke toeristenstroom op de Vrijdagmarkt vind je dit fijne plekje dat, ondanks dat we zelf ‘toerist’ zijn, elke keer weer als thuiskomen voelt. Of het nu regent of de zon schijnt, je zit hier altijd goed. Binnen knus, buiten levendig – met een sfeer die gewoon klopt. De dames in de bediening zijn vlot, attent en weten altijd een lekker wijntje of goed advies te geven. Of je nu langskomt voor een snelle bite, borrelhapjes of een lekkere avondmaaltijd: het is hier allemaal goed verzorgd, zonder gedoe. En ja, het klinkt misschien gek om te noemen, maar de toiletten zijn schoon, stevig en ruiken gewoon fris. Klinkt als iets vanzelfsprekends, maar als je genoeg Belgische cafés hebt bezocht, weet je dat dat lang niet overal het geval is ;)
