Really fun themed pub with good food options. We had the Sif platter which was £16 and fully vegan. Really good option for 2 people to share for lunch. Also enjoyed their Valhalla Pale Ale. Food was served within a good time and was hot and tasty. Would definitely come again for a proper drink.

We enjoy visiting York and this is certainly our favourite pub. The theme/music is brilliant and makes the place feel special. The staff are great and we always get a warm welcome and good service. The beers (we always have their own brand beers) are excellent- better than branded generic beers! Plenty of options of seating (upstairs,downstairs, outside). We have been in on quiet midweek nights and also very busy Saturday nights. Still always a great atmosphere no matter what!

Took myself for a solo adventure to York for a few days and stopped in for a final drink before heading home and couldn't have been happier. The theming and atmosphere is brilliant, the staff are lovely and I felt very comfortable just enjoying sitting upstairs by the fire with a shambles pork pie and a glass of sparkling mead. Can't fault it.
