Recently visited The Rise restaurant while on a break to York and staying at the Grand hotel. The food was incredible, cooked to perfection and portion sizes were very good. Our server Siri was delightful. She was very attentive and welcoming. A wonderful meal to the end of an excellent stay!

Staying in York for the week.and visiting different eating establishments daily. The Rise ,within The Grand Hotel tops the list. 5 stars on all headings, and special mention for Wilford who was excellent through our the evening with his attentiveness, service, charm, personality and attention to detail. Wilford is an asset to The Rise. Will definitely return for another meal. Thank you
