Just fabulous! We are staying at the Grand in York and it was my husband's birthday and we wanted to celebrate at this fabulous restaurant! The whole evening from start to finish was amazing! They have three levels of the prefixed menus.We decided to go for the second one and also had the wine pairing which was a great decision as the wines were perfectly paired with each course! It started with some canapes and then we had some brioche style bread with some delicious butters! Every course was spectacular! The service was impeccable as well. I would highly recommend this place.

We booked this a last minute thing and very glad we did. The food was very, very good. The front of house staff, Sam and Hannah in particular were brilliant. All in all very definitely worth a stop when in York.
