Most pizza choices are great, however we got a five cheese pizza and it wasn't good at all. It says white base, but there is no base, just cheese directly on top of the dough, so it felt very dry.

We are a family of 4 visiting from Canada and we decided to try Cresci Pizzeria while visiting York. It was simply amazing! Another customer quickly realized we were foreigners and started chatting with us - adding to the already very welcoming atmosphere. She said she and her husband eat there every week because it’s so good. The owner came over and she introduced us to him and told him we were tourists. Our special needs kiddo was a bit anxious with her pizza order and the owner reassured her that he would make the perfect pizza just for her. When we got our pizzas, she took one bite and shouted “THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!” It truly was spectacular. The care the owner and his wife provided as they helped us navigate the menu, providing a custom-made pizza for our daughter, and treating us to an after dinner liqueur on the house was amazing. I wish we’d come here earlier in our stay, but it was our last night in York. If we ever come back, we will definitely be coming to this restaurant again!
