Just saw the owner and some patrons on the Gears and Gasoline YouTube video and the hospitality that was given was just what this world needs. If I am ever in Boroughbridge I will be sure to stop in and have many pints because people and places like this are few and far between nowadays.

Saw this place on a youtube video by Gears and Gasoline posted Aug 16 2025 (today) and i was surprised and grateful to have finally seen a real and welcoming english hospitality. The owner reopened the kitchen for american tourists at 8:30pm way past the kitchen already closing. I am headed to the UK next year, I will definitely visit and experience the food and the place myself as a guest. Looking forward to it.
