We went to the spotted ox yesterday there was eight adults and five children. The meal was fantastic and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go there again.

We did enjoy our Sunday lunch today, however it was a 45 mins wait. The gravy was thin, the parsnips a little too al dente. Our orders got mixed up in the kitchen and mis match food arrived. There was no stuffing, even though it was listed as included on the menu. Main meals served but they were getting cold as we waited for the vegetables.Only one pot of cauliflower cheese arrive (for a party of 8). We asked if more was coming and our waiter said he'd ask but not sure if they had more to offer., however another pot did arrive.Apologies were offered and staff were nice. Little tweeks required to make it more pleasurable.
