Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Burton Stone Inn. C'est encore un vrai lieu, avec de vraies personnes qui le gère. On sent leur investissement corps et âme. Michal a été très amical et vraiment aux petits soins. Les petits déjeuners étaient authentiques et préparés avec attention. La chambre était spacieuse, bien pensée, avec un charme tout britannique. Bref, pour nous c'était parfait.

Hotel et non pub. Super situation. Centre ville rapidement accessible à pieds, parking gratuit SI VOUS RÉSERVEZ SUR LEUR SITE internet. Petites terrasses fleuries. La chambre familiale située tout en haut de l' hôtel est plutôt petite, tout comme la salle de bain mais est super fonctionnelle ! (Deux pieces que l' on peut séparer, c est très appréciable). Elle est propre, bien meublée. Le personnel/gérant.e est adorable, comme souvent en Angleterre. Il y a plein de jouets pour petits enfants à dispo. Le petit déjeuner est chouette, je conseille les champignons (attention cependant à réserver votre horaire rapidement car il y a des créneaux alloués à chacun et si vous devez partir tôt, le créneau que vous souhaitez risque d être pris... Nous nous sommes fait avoir en arrivant vers 17h30 pr une ouverture à 15h).

We stayed here for one night while in York. The room was great, the staff very friendly and there's a private outdoor area upstairs which is stunning. We booked through booking.com, but if you book direct with them, you get additional perks such as free parking with them. It's in a great location for the centre of York, less than ten minute walk away. The room was lovely, clean and decorated really nicely. The inn also sells food. However, we didn't eat here, so we can't comment on this. We did see two people having breakfast in the morning, and their food looked really nice though.
