We visited Mansion House for the Halloween mystery night and it did not disappoint. Such a fun and unique way to interact with the history of the property, all while completing an escape room. From only allowing small groups, and so feeling as though you have the whole place to explore to yourselves, to very clever clues, the whole night massively exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back again. 😊

We attended the Haunting of Hudson event at York Mansion House last night. What a well-thought out and executed event. Well done to the staff for coming up with all the clues! So much fun and a good difficulty level too. Amazing seeing everyone’s Victorian outfits, we’ll definitely be upping our game for next time.

This house was an absolutely wonderful place to visit. The staff were incredible, so friendly and lovely to chat to, one lovely gentleman went out of his way to give us some wonderful recommendations for places to visit in York. He also showed us a few secrets a of the house which were fascinating. Would recommend this place to everyone, the history is fascinating!
